We wrapped up the show in Hanson today, and overall, it was a day well spent!
It definitely tested our cold tolerance early on. Tucked in the shade with a steady wind blowing straight through downtown from Hwy 41, the moment setup was finished and the waiting started, the chill really set in. Thankfully, extra layers saved the day and kept things fun and enjoyable.
While sales were on the slower side—pretty standard for a family-focused festival—there was one special highlight (and a slight heartache!). Very early in the day, I sold the second prototype posable figure I had just put together last night while tidying up the shop. He turned out so cool that he practically flew off the table. I’m genuinely going to miss having him around, but seeing creations find appreciative homes makes it all worth it.
